Looking for Diligent Vietnamese Legal Assistant
We are a boutique law firm located in Renton, WA. We are seeking an extraordinary individual who is positive, hardworking, friendly, and who cares about others. This position will start off as our temporary legal receptionist (approximate three-month term), during which time you will learn office procedures and basic legal assisting duties. Your training during this time will last several weeks and will be part-time, depending on workload. At the end of the term, you will transition into a more defined Legal Assistant role, which will be full-time. The ideal candidate must be intrigued by the opportunity to grow into a paralegal or attorney down the road.

The main responsibilities and duties of a Legal Assistant are:

- Prepare pleadings and other legal documents

- Prepare written correspondences (letters and emails)

- Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress

- Monitor office calendar to meet deadlines

- Prioritize projects and delegate as necessary

- Keep physical and electronic case files organized

- Track time and expenses using billing software
Qualifications and Skills

- Speak English and Vietnamese fluently

- Minimum of one year of experience working in an office, with preference given to experience working in a law office

- Must have a high school diploma

- Experience in customer service

- Experience with MS Office and Adobe

- Able to type at least 50 words per minute

Tax resolution is service offered by tax attorneys (and some CPA's) to help clients resolve a current debt with the IRS in a manner which reduces to the total tax debt as much as possible. Other terms which describe the service include IRS representation, tax relief, tax problem recovery, back taxes settlement, tax controversy, tax solutions) but in summary, tax resolution is a service in which you help a client resolve their open debt with the IRS in a way that minimizes the debt as much as possible.
